Grab your utility bill and add the last 12 months of monthly usage together. Divide the total by 12. Now you have your monthly average. Input that total in the Monthly Electricity Usage section.
Next, find the cost. Add all "Peak" costs and divide them equally (i.e. 3 peak costs divided by three peak costs). This is your Average Cost per kWh.
Lastly, enter the system size you would like. Average size for a residential solar panel is 400W, so 10 panels is 4000W, or 4kW. Average residential solar systems are from 8kW to 12kW. This one is a bit more challenging. If you have the information requested, please input in the appropriate sections. This will provide you with a general idea of how much you can save. Average system size for commercial ranges from 30kW to 300kW for retail and warehouses, much larger for solar farms. If you do not have this information, don't worry, we can help. Fill out the request form and we will go over your specific project needs.
